We are so happy and have so much love and nervous energy that we cannot sleep. We just keep hugging each other and answering calls or emails of congratulations from all our friends and family. Daniel is going to be so loved by everyone that we know.
Holly went shopping last night at Janie and Jack and Gymboree and bought the cutest little baby boy outfits! She decided to go for 3-6 months since we have a quickly growing baby boy. Now she is going to work on the nursery this weekend and figure out what else we need to buy to get ready. The nursery is light green and the bedding is Teddy Bears playing sports (including football) with green and blue colors. Of course Holly bought this back in October 2005 b/c when she saw it she knew that Michael would love it.
Michael is at the VA Tech game today b/c he decided that he might not make any more games this season. Although he is still holding out hope that he will not miss any Ravens Games! Holly gave him a t-shirt that says Ravens Dad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About Me

- We first heard about Gladney Center for Adoption in January of 2005 when we met with Pastor Stephen and Paula. In March of 2005 we attended an orientation at Gladney in Fort Worth, Texas. We adopted Daniel on September 12, 2007! Now we are waiting for a special child to complete our family.

Congratulations! That is such wonderful news and is such an exciting time for you both.
Daniel is adorable and I would agree with Michael -- he looks like he has either tackle or lineman capabilities in him :-) Of course, if that ends up being true I'm sure he would end up going to a real football college like Nebraska :-)
You two are going to amke such wonderful parents and are going to have so much fun watching him learn and grow.
