Raven's Mania

One can only hope that our future child is as fanatical about the Ravens as Michael. All this sports trivia is even seeping into Holly's brain after 5 years of marriage. Of course, she would not allow the nursery to be painted purple! If you want to know where Michael will be on Sunday's in the fall, just click on the link below.

Vino Fantastico - Jones Day in D.C.

These are the wonderful women from my Resolve Adoption Support Group - we started all the way back in December of 2004. Jane, Debbie, Rachel, Mary and Holly have all supported each other on their adoption journeys. Tonight we are celebrating with Rachel and Joe b/c they just received a referral for a precious baby girl in China!

Michael and I were happy to attend this fundraiser for Resolve - The National Infertility Association. We were able to taste great wines and bid on silent auction items (all having to do with eating out and having a meal cooked in our home)! We had a lovely view from the Jones Day Building in D.C. thanks to Greg and Jane (who have a beautiful daughter they adopted from Gladney). Holly is volunteering with Resolve and helping to coordinate the Peer Led Support Groups in D.C. and Northern VA.

Vacation in NEVIS - March 2007

Nisbet Plantation was a very romatic resort. We had breakfast on the beach and gourmet meals every night. It was wonderful to just relax together for a whole week. We took a catamaran ride to St. Kitts for great snorkeling. Plus we enjoyed the spa and meeting new couples over drinks. We wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to go on one more big vacation before the baby arrives.

About Me

We first heard about Gladney Center for Adoption in January of 2005 when we met with Pastor Stephen and Paula. In March of 2005 we attended an orientation at Gladney in Fort Worth, Texas. We adopted Daniel on September 12, 2007! Now we are waiting for a special child to complete our family.
