Daniel had a great time at cousin Will (4) and Jason's (2) joint Birthday Party in PA at Tammy and Mike's place. He could not wait to get to the party and kept saying birthday party in the back seat which Michael and I heard as "porcupine" several times before we figured it out!!
Of course when we arrived after the drive, Daniel expected Birthday Cake right away - why else would you go to a birthday party. He was disappointed to find out that the cake does not come until the end of the party! Daniel had a great time playing with Will and Jason and all their friends. Mike made a sandbox for Will and Jason's birthdays which was a big hit with everyone. Daniel also discovered that balloons pop when they land in the grass.
The hippo cake and monkey/tiger/lion cupcakes made by Claudia were amazing and delicious. It was a great afternoon with our family.
