Chinese Food and Nursery Border

Our friends Bennett & Jen and their kids Robyn and BJ came over tonight :-) See picture above of Holly and Jen with BJ.
Jen put up the border around the nursery for us - it was her idea - she is a pro. She says it's a mechanism to let her get out her inner perfectionist. All we know is that it looks 1,000 times better than if we had done it ourselves. We ordered Chinese (food, not silk screens) and spent time playing with the kids. Jen has already taught Robyn to say "Baby Daniel" - and Robyn was all excited to see Baby Daniel's room. Bennett helped Mike put up the curtain rods for the valences - mainly by picking up the screws I dropped. I dropped a few. Most importantly - Daniel received his first Ravens cap from Jen & Bennett. He'll be one sharp-looking baby getting off the plane on Thursday!

On a separate note today was Holly's last day at work until after Thanksgiving! It was a bit crazy getting everything finished and/or transitioned this week. Fortunately Holly has a great team who will be over at our place this Sunday for a party/Mexican Fiesta! They will all take care of things at the office so Holly can be the best MOM to Daniel!

About Me

We first heard about Gladney Center for Adoption in January of 2005 when we met with Pastor Stephen and Paula. In March of 2005 we attended an orientation at Gladney in Fort Worth, Texas. We adopted Daniel on September 12, 2007! Now we are waiting for a special child to complete our family.
