Baby Shower in Honor of Daniel

Holly here - Saturday was the big baby shower in honor of Daniel. I was so honored by the number of friends and family who were here to celebrate with me and Michael and Daniel! We are so blessed.

Daniel made out like crazy with lots of toys, clothes and everything else you can imagine. He received really cute Texas items from the parents of his Gladney friends! He even got a build-a-bear that is a Ravens bear and the jersey has his name on the back (can you believe it!). Plus he also received hand-made blankets and a cute long clothes line with clothes, shoes and socks in all different sizes that stretched across the room. What a lucky boy.

Marsha (the ultimate host) made amazing food and organized an incredible shower - THANK YOU does not even say enough. I would also like to thank all her helpers - Lisa, Cathie, Barbara, Jodi, and Jen who are such wonderful friends. Plus Aunt Valerie and Nana (Sofie) brought the cutest cake and desserts! Gram made the trip up from Florida for the weekend and Holly's sorority sisters even drove down from PA. It was such a wonderful celebration and I was so touched.

The big and little boys were hanging out in the basement during the shower. Daniel made a few appearances so that all the ladies could enjoy him. Michael even sang the new song he created for Daniel to the tune of "The Gambler" (a song that Holly sings to Daniel). We all had so much fun!

Aunt Valerie finally got to meet Daniel! She has been sick with pnuemonia and had to stay away which broke her heart. Daniel sent her a cute note b/c he could not wait to meet her! He even received a bib from Valerie that says "I love my Aunt" which is so very true.
