Plane, Rocket and a Basketball

Well, we headed out to the park today with a plane and rocket that Michael bought for Daniel - at least he claims that he is buying these for Daniel :) Michael set off the rocket top and Daniel went after it. The plane was not quite as exciting b/c the wings came off when it landed on the ground. Daniel then discovered that there were two boys playing basketball with their dad. So he walked the whole way across the park determined to get to the basketball court even with his sneaker coming off and falling a few times!

He was fascinated by the basketball game so the boys let him play with the basketball. Daniel picked up the heavy ball all by himself. And he was not happy when he had to leave the park for dinner and a bath.

We went to the Big Apple Circus earlier in the day and Daniel really enjoyed the show. We were surprised that is lasted 2 hours! Daniel was clapping and really paying attention to all the acts - he especially liked the doggies.

Daniel did very well in Young Toddlers at daycare this week. He gets to go the gym and play with the balls and bikes. Plus they have lots of time outdoors in between lessons. He is also doing more artwork and has learned to wash his own hands at a kiddie sink. He has quickly gone from walking to running . . .
