Don and Sharon, our GREAT transitional care family, JUST sent us an update on Daniel, including a new pic! Here is their message and the picture of our growing boy, who we can't wait to hold and snuggle in less than a week!
Hi Mike & Holly,
Sorry for the delay, but know you will enjoy this picture of Daniel. He has changed so much in the past week. Growing by leaps and bounds. He has taken as much as 5 ounces on a few occasions now. And...........he has actually slept through the night a couple of times. Last night he ate around 9:30, got into his little fussy period until Don snuggled with him in the recliner. Then he went to bed and didn't wake up until 6:00 am this morning.
We were gone quite a lot today so he slept quite a bit. Anxious to see if he sleeps through the night again. We will let you know.
Kim (our Gladney counselor) got to see him today at a Gladney function. She (and tons of others) thought he was incredible.
Well, more later. Feel free to call whenever it is convenient. Meanwhile we will just keep on enjoying Daniel and give him plenty of hugs and kisses for you.

Congratulations!!!!! We are very happy for the both of you. I know that you have been waiting for this for quite a while. I know that you will be great parents.
Mike now has a new person for all those great (and very detailed) stories. :-)

Daniel is getting cuter everyday...I am excited that BJ will have a playmate...Daniel will be like a little brother to BJ and I can see them getting into trouble together...Daniel just has to grow up and little and learn to walk and then it will be all over...I am very, very, very happy for you....
