Fun with Gram and Pop-pop

Pop-pop taking Daniel on a spin in his car!

Baltimore Aquarium

Daniel kept saying "Water" and "Boats" over and over at Inner Harbor.

Early birthday card from Uncle Scott and Aunt Erica = a caterpiller that turns into a butterfly!

Daniel showing Gram and Pop-pop his slide and swingset.

Gram and Pop-pop came to visit Daniel for his birthday weekend! Pop-pop taught Daniel how to use his new swing and he loved it.

Then we headed to Baltimore Aquarium today! Daniel enjoyed seeing all the different fish, sharks, turtles and dophins. Unfortunately for the dolphin show, Daniel just could not understand why he could not go into the water with the dolphins. So we had to leave early and I took Daniel to the children's area where he finally got to run around and play.

In the afternoon, we went in the pool and to the park. Daniel enjoyed having the day off with Daddy, Mommy, Gram and Pop-pop.

Pool Time

It looks like the heat and humidity arrived for August. Daniel loved playing outside in his pool today. He especially liked when Daddy would throw him up in the air and splash down. Plus there were lots of airplanes flying over the house all afternoon. PRICELESS!

Bike and Puddle

Daniel headed to park on his bike today. However, he had even more fun jumping in a puddle, sitting in the puddle, finding bugs in the puddle, etc. As Michael said, "He is a boy. And boys jump in puddles."

Frying Pan Farm Park

We headed to Frying Pan Farm Park this afternoon for the 4-H Fair and Farm Show. Daniel went on his first ride (by himself) called Willie the Whale. He really loved it and said more each time it ended. We also went on the carousel many times b/c Daniel was fascinated with how the horses went up and down.

Then Daniel got to pet a cow and sheep while Daddy made cow noises that impressed the crowd. Michael also had one of his top three Italian sausages and ice cream from Middleburg Creamery. Next year Daniel will be tall enough for lots of rides which makes me happy b/c I love rides.

About Me

We first heard about Gladney Center for Adoption in January of 2005 when we met with Pastor Stephen and Paula. In March of 2005 we attended an orientation at Gladney in Fort Worth, Texas. We adopted Daniel on September 12, 2007! Now we are waiting for a special child to complete our family.
