8 Months Old Today

Well, Daddy and Daniel have a stomach virus - not good! Michael was home with Daniel from Sunday - Tuesday while I was on a business trip. Murphy's Law that Daniel gets very sick. Michael definitely earned his DAD badge by taking care of him so he did not have to go to the ER. Unfortunately, when I got home Tuesday evening, Michael got very sick. So both of my boys are down for the count.

' Here are some cute pictures of Daniel having fun at daycare. They just love him there and it shows. He really enjoys art time and taking buggy rides! Plus now he can crawl everywhere.

Baby's First Tooth!!!!

Can you see my tooth in these pictures? If you blow up the pictures in size you should be able to see it! My mouth really hurts so Mommy gave me some baby orajel. She has been really sweet to me this weekend and even got up with me two nights in a row.


















Daniel got his first tooth today! He was definitely on the Motrin this weekend and today the tooth finally popped through on the bottom. It looks like the tooth next to it also wants to come in so he might get his bottom two front teeth right away. I tried to take some pictures, so see if you can see the tooth! He is definitely moving all over now and constantly trying to get somewhere :)

Daniel Crawls Forward for the First Time

Michael wanted me to mark this day (even though he will remember it). Daniel crawled forward by moving his arms for the first time! He was trying to get to Michael's oatmeal! Now there is no stopping our big boy . . . .

He is also eating puffs and starting Level 3 foods . . . he is growing up so fast that is is unbelievable.

We have also discovered that Daniel loves playing with my laptop. He manages to find any wire or cord or plug that he is not supposed to play with now that he is mobile.

He is definitely teething but so far we have not seen any teeth. I feel so bad for him b/c I know he is in pain.

We went to Rachel's Surprise Birthday Party at Sabatino's in Baltimore's Little Italy today. Daniel was very good and even got a few pieces of bread. I think he really wanted pasta so I fed him 3rd Foods Chicken and Pasta when we got home.

Date Night

Michael and I went out to dinner tonight since we were lucky enough to have Rebecca babysit Daniel! Daniel even went to bed at 7:30pm - we might need to have Rebecca come over more often.

Daniel is still my sweet pea as you can see in these pictures. He is now eating puffs and making all the other babies laugh at daycare.

Definitely Not April Fool's

When we got home today, we received a FedEx with Daniel's birth certificate - yeah! It is so wonderful to see his name and ours in print. Our sweet pea is now asleep with his but in the air - how cute. He does not even know how much love he is already spreading in this world.

Sleep . . . Sleep . . . Sleep

I am starting this blog over b/c Daniel loves to operate the laptop and decided to erase the first entry I typed. Perhaps he does not want anyone to know that he is not a perfect sleeper?

Daniel slept 12 hours last night from 7pm to 7am. This is HUGE progress on the sleep front for us. He did wake up a few times but went back to sleep after a few pats on the back.

Perhaps Michael and I can keep this going and hopefully get over our own sleep deprivation.

I must admit that when I was rocking him to sleep last night that I wished this point in time would last forever. I just love holding him, rocking him, and feeling his cheek next to mine. I want to protect him forever and make him so happy. My heart was so full of love at that moment and I just wanted to soak it all in to remember these amazing times with our angel baby.
