Gram and Pop-Pop Visit Daniel
Pop-pop and Gram had a wonderful time playing with Daniel on Sunday and Monday morning.

Pop-pop even taught Daniel how to make the touchdown sign and this did not really help the Ravens at all as they lost (which was expected). Daniel got to play with some new toys and he loves the musical toys so much! Plus he is brilliant b/c he has them all figured out already.
Daniel did manage to get in a little snuggle time with Mommy before he had to go to bed! He is our little Christmas angel.

Raven's Season
Daniel wants to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!

So we were chatting with Daniel today and asking him about the Ravens. At first he was happy, but then when he really thought about it he looked at us and stuck out his tongue. This pretty much says it all for the Raven's season this year. We think Greg N. was absolutely correct when he asked Michael if he made a deal with God - yes, Michael prayed to God to have Daniel join our lives even if it meant that the Ravens would have a really bad season! So we are going to watch the game today after Gram and Pop-pop (Holly's parents) arrive for Christmas. I am pretty much guessing that they will lose :(

I love my Mommy
Daniel here - well today is Mommy's birthday and I got her two pair of gold earrings (see me holding the earrings in the pictures)! Yes, Daddy already taught me how to buy jewelery and cards for Mommy. Although she told me that I am her best present ever!
She really deserves her presents b/c I have been sick with an ear infection and Mommy has been up every night since last Friday taking care of me. Plus she stayed home when I was really sick to cuddle me all day b/c that was the only way I would calm down. Daddy stayed home on the first day I was sick. Daddy took some pictures of Mommy holding when I was finally asleep.
I have now gotten better, but Mommy (and Daddy) got sick after me. She is a real trooper and continues to give me lots of hugs and kisses.

Santa's Little Helper and Advent Train
Daniel turns 4 months old today! And he has his first cold/issues from teething so he slept and rolled around next to Mommy all night. We just want to make him feel better. Right now he is asleep in my arms where he might spend most of the day.
I did manage to get a few smiles out of him when he was playing with his Baby Einstein musical kaleidescope. He also loves looking at the Christmas tree and I know he is thinking, "How do I get to the lights and grab those ornaments."
My sweet pea is the cutest "Santa's Little Helper" ever. I have been telling him stories about baby Jesus and we bought an ornament in TX that is a cute little wooden nativity. We want Daniel to learn all about the reason we celebrate Christmas as we know that he is our blessing from God and Jesus.
Daniel received a very special ADVENT TRAIN from Teri and Kira so we had to try it out in front of the tree. This will be a special Christmas tradition for Daniel on each day of Advent.

About Me

- We first heard about Gladney Center for Adoption in January of 2005 when we met with Pastor Stephen and Paula. In March of 2005 we attended an orientation at Gladney in Fort Worth, Texas. We adopted Daniel on September 12, 2007! Now we are waiting for a special child to complete our family.
