Michael, Gram and I headed to the Verizon Center for the Circus!!!! When we arrived you could go down on the floor and meet the circus performers. Daniel especially liked all the stunts with dogs and the dancing clowns. Plus we bought him a light saber and another toy with spinning lights.
We had the privilege of sitting in my company's suite/box which was lovely. Daniel had a front row seat with the rest of my colleagues and their children. We had great food and space for Daniel to run around. When the circus started Daniel was fascinated by the elephants and the tigers. He also enjoyed acrobats who jumped around in large balls (ball being one of his favorite words).
It was a great day with Gram and Daniel. Daniel almost made it the whole way through the performance (he fell asleep on my during the last 1/2 hour). And he only through his binky and sippy cup over the edge once :)
Unfortunately, Michael had to miss it b/c he is still recovering from his surgery. So Michael's parents came down for the day to take care of him.
