Haircut & Visitors

Yesterday, Daniel got his first haircut! Ms. Jenny came over to our day care to give the haircuts (yes, they even have a barber's chair for kids!), and Daniel was very good! (Except when Ms. Jenny was close to his ears - but that's a common reaction).

I even saved some of the hair, so we can embarrass Daniel in front of his prom date... ;-)

Last night, Eric and Patricia were over (after Michael picked them up at Dulles). Joshua and Daniel and our Daniel played together and had a good time. Joshua loves the Darth Vader Helmet!!

Swinging . . .

We took Daniel for a walk this afternoon and ended up at the playground. Daniel LOVES the swing - especially when you push him very fast and tickle his toes. Plus he liked going down the slide with a little help.

I had such a wonderful day with my two boys - Daddy and Daniel! A simple and fun day playing outside and really enjoying the moment.

Pool Time!

We decided to get out Daniel's pool since it was such a nice day! We started with the Li'l Squirt Baby Pool and he loved it once he got in. The water just squirts right up and he kept trying to catch the water with Daddy. Daniel was soaked and he could not get enough time in his new pool.

Then we switched to the bigger pool which had some structural defects, but we made it work. Daniel got to play with his bath toys with Mommy. This pool did not contain him and apparently he now loves crawling on the grass. He made a dash for the steps every chance that he could.

Daniel loves the water so I think we might need to look into swim lessons soon. He will splash and play with his ducks all day long if we let him :)
